Rachel Barton Pine debuted with the Chicago Symphony at age 10 and was the first American and youngest ever gold medal winner of the International Johann Sebastian Bach Competition. Pine will perform a program called "Old World, New World" featuring several short pieces from Bach to Metallica.

The Akropolis Reed Quintet is a five-member ensemble playing sax, oboe, clarinet, bass clarinet, and bassoon. For this concert they are offering "Under the Influence" which includes works by Gershwin, Debussy, Ton ter Doest, Charles Ives, Asaf Peres, and Robbie McCarthy.

The Baltimore Consort is a six-member ensemble performing on a variety of instruments: lute, flute, fife, recorder, crumhorn, viol, gemshorn, cittern guitar, and rebec. Their interest is in early music of English/Scottish heritage, which has led them to explore the traditional music of North America. They are offering a program, "Crossing to the New World," that consists of early and traditional music in the British Isles, France, and North America.
