Eric Jezek’s creative side was encouraged by a middle school art teacher where he developed talents in oil painting. In high school he took art classes developing his painting skills in all medium. Always looking to cultivate his artistic aptitude, Eric began dabbling in contemporary metal sculpturing.
After high school he put his interest in art aside to pursue other directions. In the early 1980s, Eric picked up the brushes once again finding inspiration in painting both land and seascapes. Ten years ago his interests shifted to clay as an art medium and Eric began taking classes and designing hand-built and wheel thrown ceramic creations.
Today, Eric’s artistic inspiration has translated into glass fusing. With the use of integrated glass techniques, Eric enjoys creating bold and colorful works of art.
