Living in Southern California, Kathy’s earliest memories include a profound interest in the arts, particularly charcoal drawing. She discovered her drawing ability and many other creative talents when she was a teenager – mostly self-taught. Kathy has traveled a rather circuitous path in arriving at this point in her creative life and settling in Texas in 2005.
Today, Kathy enjoys dabbling in hand-built, sculpting and wheel-thrown pottery; wire wrapping and building jewelry creations; and fused glass art. Experimenting with a new interest in the world of fibers, she is diversifying her artistic talents just a bit. Uniquely inspired by the eclectic lifestyle she is blending the old look of loomed knit scarves with the new jazzy specialty yarns, beads, ribbons…you name it. She admits (tongue-in-cheek) that she's "a regular Loomingdales!"
“My continuous love of expressing myself serves as a source of inspiration.”
