ART OPENING

Join us this Friday at 5PM at the Cultural Activities Center for the opening of three distinct and thought-provoking exhibitions. From the collaborative dialogue of contemporary artists in Conversation to the rich industrial history in Bricks—A Lost Art and the breathtaking environmental focus of The Nature Parade, this evening promises a dynamic celebration of art in all its forms.

Saulsbury Gallery:

“Conversation” is an exhibition co-curated by Emily Peacock and Phokus Lillie. It features artists Bennie Sneed, Bob Morrissey, Christa Gomez, Mitch Pengra, Naomi Canale and Spencer Welch.

Carabasi Gallery:

“Bricks – A Lost Art” is an exhibition curated by collector Rebecca Meacham. The display features antique clay bricks, some over 150 years old, alongside pottery produced by the same brick company. This collection showcases bricks, memorabilia, and historical artifacts related to the brick-making industry.

McCreary Gallery:

“The Nature Parade” is a photography exhibition by Katherine Carvajal that captures the stunning beauty of nature. This work emphasizes the importance of preserving our environment for future generations.
