Additionally, its window to the adjoining Tranum Coat Room doubles as a beverage service bar. This grand facility features floor to ceiling glass windows with shades that can be opened for natural light with a view of seasonal landscaping, or closed to darken room for AV capabilities.

This grand space features a wall of mirrors, direct access to the McCreary Courtyard, flooring with the appearance of hardwood, private kitchen facilities (Allen Servery) and adjacent restrooms.

Inside the Cultural Activities Center is the Frank Mayborn Auditorium. This beautiful fully-equipped theater has 422 seats plus 6 wheelchair spots, and features computerized lighting and sound systems along with an orchestra pit and dressing rooms.
This venue is home to the CAC’s Texas Music Series, the Central Texas Orchestral Society, Temple Lions Follies, a variety of concert and children’s programming and the Sweet Adelines regularly perform on stage. The CAC’s stage is a favorite area resource for special events like band concerts, school plays, dance recitals, and UIL one-act play competitions.

If your event is for minors and/or if you serve any alcohol during your planned event, you must have security guards from the moment your guests arrive. Security shall
remain on the premises until the last guest has left the event. The CAC requires that the security personnel be uniformed officers from the Bell County Sheriff’s Office. The leasee is responsible for the acts and omissions of their attendees and security is here to assist in making your event a safe event for all concerned. Alcohol may not be served until the security officers are on duty and cannot be served after 11PM.
Security for this event is required at the renter’s expense. The number of officers will vary based on the nature of the event with a minimum of two (2) and will be determined by the Bell County Sheriff’s Office. The Bell County Sheriffs office currently requires three (3) officers for all Quinceañeras.
